Elimination of the obligation to register time in full-time contracts

Labor Inspection has published an internal instruction.

30/11/2017

We inform you that since last May, 2017, Labor Inspection , modifying its previous criterion in the matter, has published an internal instruction in which it is detailed that the control of registration of the working day is not an obligation required to the companies for all purposes and, therefore, the omission of this record does not constitute an infringement , in application of the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court rulings where it is established that companies are not required to keep a record of the daily work for full-time hiring.

Despite this we remind you that:
 The part-time workers' day will be registered every day and will be totaled monthly, giving a copy to the worker, along with the receipt of salaries, of the summary of all the hours carried out in each month, both ordinary and complementary ones, consequently , the obligation to register the daily working hours for workers hired on a part-time basis continues .
 Likewise, you always have to have a record of the extra hours that all the workers of the company do .

We remain at your disposal to expand this information and to answer any questions or queries in this regard.
